This is a typical landscape in the Shapingba district of Chongqing. It’s mostly kind of boggy farmland. There really aren’t large fields that I have seen; it’s mostly just these small plots tended by hand, intermittently interrupted by high rise developments. In this area many of the high-rises are the auxiliary campuses of Chongqing’s various universities.
